How to enable buzzer/beeper for TP809?

1. Step by Step to enable buzzer/beeper

if HPRT Utility For POS never installed, please start from #1, if HPRT Utility For POS

Before you start, please connect printer with usb cable, and turn it on.

  1. download printer utility from https://download.ziicloud.com/

  1. install utility

  1. start printer ultility

  2. add target printer to setting (BY USB), if by network check this page

4.1 click add printer at right hand-side
4.2 at printer driver, select TP809
4.3 at Port type select usb

  1. Select target printer
  2. click advanced settings ... button

  1. click function setting button

  2. at long beeping after cutting area, click Use printer buzzer

  3. at printer buzzer area

Beeping times: 2
beeping time: 2
beeping interval 1

Click Set button at long beeping after cutting area

when it done successfully, the printer will beep once and show this message on the screen

  1. at buzzer volume, click Loud button, then click set button

when it done successfully, this message on the screen

  1. power cycle (restart) target printer

2. Step by Step to enable buzzer/beeper network mode

Before you start, you must have printer IP address.
To get printer IP address, we have get it from self test page.

Get self test page:

  1. Power off the printer
  2. Press and hold feed and Power button at the same time, untill the self test page print out

for example:

once you have this printer IP address, we can go to the next stage

if HPRT Utility For POS never installed, please start from #1, if HPRT Utility For POS

  1. download printer utility from https://download.ziicloud.com/

  1. install utility

  1. start printer ultility

  2. add target printer to setting (BY network), if by network check this page

4.1 click add printer at right hand-side
4.2 at printer driver, select TP809
4.3 at Port type select TCP/IP
4.4 enter the printer IP address

4.5 Click OK

  1. Select target printer
  2. click advanced settings ... button

  1. click function setting button

  2. at long beeping after cutting area, click Use printer buzzer

  3. at printer buzzer area

Beeping times: 2
beeping time: 2
beeping interval 1

Click Set button at long beeping after cutting area

when it done successfully, the printer will beep once and show this message on the screen

  1. at buzzer volume, click Loud button, then click set button

when it done successfully, this message on the screen

  1. power cycle (restart) target printer
