Location

Everything about menu will be change at Menu setup, include add new category, new item, price changing.

Menu structure

In our system, the menu structure has 3 layer of menu structure + sub-link and instruction Menu Group -- > Category Group - -> Item Group + description For example： Launch menu - -> Pizza - - > Meat Lover + more cheese / more chill

Resection on delete items Because of the system design, system is not allowed user to delete any item that been used before. For example, If we made an item called ‘item A’, and this item has been placed order before, then it will not be able to delete from the system anymore. However, we could uncheck the ‘Active’ box to disable this item, then the disabled item will not show in the menu.   Adding the Menu Item

  1. Add Menu Group If it is the first time to setup a new menu, the system will set ‘Menu Group’ as the default menu Unless we have any special require, we do not need setup the Menu Group. For example, some restaurant has different cuisine like Chinese and Japanese at the some time.

  2. Adding New Category Group

  1. Click ‘Category Setup’

  2. Click ‘New’ at the new window

  3. Fill a customized 3 character unique ID as the category code, and it must not same as any other category ID

  4. Enter the Category Description name. For example: Code： B01，Description 1: Beef，Description 2: 牛肉

Note: The Format has to be same for all the items. For example: if the description 1 filled the name in English and description filled the name in Chinese, then please keep this format in all the items. What if I filled in another way around? The answer will be no, nothing could go wrong in the system, the only problem could we facing is that the moment we want to print in English, but some item might output as Chinese.

Once we successfully saved the new category, the system will show like this.

The new category has been add in to the system.   3. Add new Item Group

  1. On the main panel, select Menu Group

  2. On the pop up menu select the target menu, if we do not have any other menu group, we could skip this step.

  3. On the left-hand side, Click the target category

  4. Then, click NEW button

  5. One the popped up windows, a. we need fill a 4 characters unique item code b. enter the description 1 as the item menu like: BBQ Beef Meet ball c. confirm the target category d. select the item group : Food, Drink e. Enter the price f. Confirm the target printer and kitchen screen to output the job list g. Click save
